Swimming Pool redesign – From Kidney shape to L shape
The client that just bought the property asked us if we could repair the pool as it was tilted and losing water. Located in Sierra Cortina – Finestrat – Alicante, a top-class area of Benidorm, with splendid views over the Benidorm skyscrapers and beach.
Between the property and the neighbour at the bottom, it has a 6-7m( 18-20 feet) level difference. That area, at the time the house was built, was unproperly infilled and in time the ground was dropping bit by bit. The solution for that was to remove the existing pool, dig down all the way to the firm soil, infill with gravel, and then build the new pool.
After guniting process the client chose the superb Rayleigh scattering-effect swimming pool tiles.

In order to follow the modern finish, we’ve provided the flat tile edging for the pool, so that makes the terrace even bigger and the feeling of much more space. That gives a very clean finish to the terrace, as the old white edging is not being used anymore.

Then, at the seaside, we’ve replaced the cypress trees with a concrete balustrade. Besides the security, the balustrade gives a classic and posh look.
